Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: For me, it is two different things!. Resentment is something quite simple, we show our annoyance, maybe we shout, we swear and all is ended there!. Revenge is action towards to the other person, us , wanting to hurt them even pretending everything is ok!. I can say, showing resentment is more open and sincere, more justified!. You also make a choice to harbor resentment or to be vengeful toward someone!. If you make the choice to do either you are no better than the person/persons doing the wrongful action!. Now, that being said, if you make a decision to do the better thing, you have accomplished something, because you have learned from this!. I can resent my own actions, even if I was to punish myself it would not be revenge!.
