to make a decendant that WILL be remmembered!.
I used to yell at my aunts and mom for being so un-trying or whatever to be special or do something other than what is typical like cook, clean, sleep, and thought they were cluttering the already over-populized with worthless idiots, world!.
but then I realized that if someone from their decendants will make an amazing difference in the world,
then they will have been just as important for building up such a strong family genetic line ^_^
one decendant can make everyone's (in their family and who surrounded them/ifluenced them) existance worth while!.
that's the point for them,

I really don't want to be just another part of a stairway for someone else!.!.

What makes you think you will never be remembered!?People you meet in the world will have an impact on your life, good or bad, and you will have an impact on theirs!. So no matter what someone or alot of people will remember you and will think of you now and again!.
Your legacy will be passed on to generation in your family!. Make sure you write about your life, good or bad, and if you have children, pass it on to them so they can keep it in the family!. also make something of your life!.

I agree that if one of us will be remembered, then life is meaningless!. But we can be thankful that God will remember most people who have ever lived when he performs his great act of resurrection during the coming golden age (2 Peter 3:13)!. I think the point of life is not to be remebered but to make your mark on this world in whatever way that may be!. If you make someones day happy trust me you will be remembered!. I think no life is without purpose!. We all have something to offer this world in some way shape or form even if takes a lifetime for us to realize what that is some find out sooner others may never find out!. Point of life is to survive and produce!.

Not to be a computer genius, doctor or clown!.
Not to live in a relationship with no kids!.

We are here to produce as much as possible and we have the instinct to live, so we eat and work so that we can eat!.
Only reason we have friends is to save ourselves from emotional problems!. That in itself is selfish!.

Humans are selfish, self obsessed and are all here to protect ourselves and our young!.
life = survival of our own species and ourselves!.
thats why no animal ever cares if it kills another species, and they only kill there own if its for the best chance of survial for themselves!.
Eg kill the sick who cant contribute to hunting and are wasting food supplies!.
