Question: Fallacy: "When you look inside yourself, do you see that your heart is black!?" What is the fallacy!?

If you answer affirmative, you look bad!.
If you answer negatively, the questioner can retort with something such as, "Why not!? You should!. Original sin makes it black," thus making you seem incompetent to see what is "right before your eyes!."

Yes implies that you used to!. No implies you still do!.

Or: "Do you know that every neurosis in you comes from repressing your infant sexuality when you wanted to have sex with your mother"!? (Freud) Yes implies you agree; no is just denial and repression!.

In all cases, you are damned if you do, and damed if you don't!. Because a meaning shift takes place and the question is thus inconsistent between the beginning and the end!.

the fallacy to me is that a person with a black heart would not bother with self examination of something they believe to be dead!. If a person does not believe in sin than they feel free of the "stain" of original sin and could not believe in a black heart!.
