Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: because they where taught to pray but that is usually done silently!. when you talk to someone no once can see or to yourself they worry you have a mental condition that causes illusions and stuff like that!. you shouldn't get mad at them they are just concerned for you!. most people don't understand the compulsion to talk to one's self i think it comes from not having anyone to talk to as a kid!. like a sibling or active parents!.Www@QuestionHome@Com To fortunateone41, you really can't believe that all that surrounds us was made by nothing or pre-existed that's just dumb, anywho!. It is completely normal to talk to God or yourself or your soul or anything you like 'cause that indicates a sense of communication or a need for it and that in itself shows that you are caring or even concerned!. Perhaps when you are in communion with something else it gives you the perception of strength, the notion that you can slightly rely on someone or something else also!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Because, to them god is real, so it is normal to speak to those that are real!. People allow there faith as a cushion to fall back on in times of trouble, to explain concepts we dont understand or to give the answers we need!.
