Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Many say we are simply the 'awareness of being' the OBSERVER or WITNESS of the mind/body system, the conditioned identity, and the multidimensional field of reality with its tangled karmic cycles of cause and effect!.!.!. AND that there is nothing more to do here - but "return to the Source" - "the ALL" and spend our remaining days floating through life, letting the undifferentiated quantum field propel us where we need to go!. That our individual state of consciousness, which survives the body and evolves for unique purposes in every incarnation - should be discounted or dismissed altogether - as though there is no individual purpose important to the Whole, other than meditating on Source and staring at our proverbial navel!!
