A philosopher, possibly!. A prophet, no!. He was a politician -- if you read the quatrains with an eye to the situations at the French court during his life, there are far more similarities there than to any of the more recent events people have tried to match the "predictions" to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Michel de Notre-dame ie: Nostradamus when he was writing the quatrains ,was writing to hide the meaning from the royalists
in a sense he was encrypting for the initiated ones !. Not prophet!.!. but it's like looking at ink spots, anyone has a different view of them, people who seek meaning to something that they cant understand tend to give it an esoteric life!. Write down a lot of thoughts!.!. in a few hundred years you could be THE Prophet !.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
