Negatively, because it sounds like they're just trying to make you feel good!? Maybe!. Or they could've had so many bad relationships, they can't believe in a perfect one, thus, it being 'too good to be true'!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It means that what ever you are doing it is the right thing for this person!. You make them feel just the way they want to feel and you do everything they expect in a whatever the relationship is!. It is a very positive and powerful statement to make and hear!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

preethi is right!. It depends on the situation you're in when someone says this to you!. also, it depends on the tone of voice used!.

It could reflect their insecurities about how no one could be this kind without an ulterior motive!. It could be something romantic said to you because you are so very different then the kind of people who usually hang around them (in a good way)!. Heck, they could even be saying it sarcastically, to underline how you're not treating them well at all!. There's no telling how they mean it until you hear them say it!.

So, the context of that phrase would directly effect my reaction!. I can't tell you if I would take it positively or negatively, at least not based solely on the information given!.
