The argument is that if you want to do another harm, you'll find a kitchen knife or a baseball bat to do it, which is true!.

However, I don't think you can do a "drive by knifing!." I've never heard of an innocent bystander getting hit in the crossfire when bats were being used!.

The problems with guns come from the ease with which one can do harm, the distance from which one can do harm, and the speed with which one can harm multiple individuals!. With other weapons, a person at least has a chance to run away from the attack!. I also think the other students at Virginia Tech would have been more willing to take the shooter down if he'd been carrying a bat instead of multiple guns!.

As for your take about bullets!? Well, um, yeah, but that still skirts the issue of the shooter taking responsibility!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah that's still Gay!. If people would actually learn how to use guns first before they bothered keeping them and then put them away when they had kids there would be less of a problem!. And if we were allowed to shoot the ignorant we would take care of the population problem and the stupidity problem at one time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
