To me, a gift is just still only a gift, no matter what it is, I treasure all gifts that I get!. If you want something, a certain type of gift, I think that you should drop a hint to what you would like, rather then actually say what you want, after all they do say "it's better to give then to receive"!.
Another saying that I always use is, "He who expects and get nothing shall be disappointed", Therefor I expect nothing, but if I get something, then it's a Bonus!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you are not in control of the disposition of the item in question then it is not even yours, much less a gift!. If someone is forcing you to use your resources to store and maintain it, then it is a dependant more than anything else!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To me gifts are traps either kept with me somewhere where I know in order not to cross it by accident or thrown away!. They have the ability to hold people hostages!. If we are not strong enough to decline a gift we might not be able to come out alive from
