I didn't know that there were any other options!.
If you really knew it was over and the other person just said it before you then the only thing hurt is your ego!. If you were invested and this was unexpected of course it feels like a rejection because it is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it hurts, but what can you do!? of course you feel like you werent good enough or you might feel rejected, but its best not to cry over things like that for a long time!. you just beat em up and move on :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

Well unless you never had feelings or loved the person, then no you wouldn't feel anything!.
We as humans take chances at love and open our hearts, hoping that the one we open our selves up to, will be the one we spend our life with!.
When things don't go as planned or if we are turned down, then yes it hurts, because in a sense we are wearing our emotions on our sleeve!.
But I think as much as it hurts to be rejected, in the long run and if we learn from it, the next one should be even better, than the last!.
