Philosophically, What is the opposite of love!?

My Answer: It is anything that is "not love!." Apathy, Hate, Resentment, Shame, Guilt and so on ad infinitum! I prefer the nonlinear non-simplified view of love and all that is "not love!." There are degrees of love but ony because of one's limitations, one's knowledge & understanding and one's attitude! Alot of love is learned but some is not (mothers'love perhaps)!. The family and the culture we live in shapes how we think of, show and respond to love!.

Malice!. Love can be an active form of affection --it is when it is a verb (to love someone)!. Malice is an active form of dislike or hatred!.
With those we love we seek ways to help them and please them!. When we feel malice, we actively seek ways to hinder and harm them!.
