Yes! The tube screamer is designed to emulate the sound of overdriven sound of a Tube Amplifier!. Although don't expect it to sound EXACTLY like a tube amp, it will have a different, "warmer" sound!.

Personally, If you don't have much money to spend on pedals, I would wait on this type of effect unless you are for sure you want it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes it does it can give you a very bluesy tone but on a dirty channel on a tube amp it will give it a metal toneWww@QuestionHome@Com
