Question: Since my trumpet has pit spots in it does that mean it has lacquered finish!?

I have an intermediate Yamaha trumpet and it has maybe like two pit spots in the bell!. I'm trying to find out if it has a lacquered finish so I know what kind of polish I should buy!. Thanks for your help!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it doesn't mean it is lacquered!. http://wwbw!.com/buyers-guides-trumpets-s!.!.!. scroll down near the bottom there it should tell what the difference between gold, lacquered and silver plated!. in a way, it kinda is the color, but not really!. i'm not a trumpet expert but if you have your band or trumpet teacher you could ask them!. good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
