Pa system for small venues?

Question: Mic/Pa system for small venues!?

I am a guitar player/vocalist and me and a buddy are starting a band to play small venues like bars and such!.

What sort of microphone setup should i be looking into!? pa systems!?

Keep in mind that the PA system is your link to the audience!. A really cheap system is going to sound just that - cheap!. Scrimp on something else and get yourself a good system for vocals!. Check out Musician's Friend!. Peavey and Yamaha are good systems and are not overly expensive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it sounds to me that you will need at least four channels, one for you guitar, one for your vocals, one for you buddy's guitar, and one for your buddy's vocal!. for simple and cheap, try this, its a cheap system that can support you and it sounds good too!. http://pro-audio!.musiciansfriend!.com/pro!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
