I'm a little confused!. For the D minor or any minor chord I have seen has the fingering of 1-b3-5!. So my question is!.!.!. What does b3 mean!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not one hundred percent sure, but a major chord notation would be 1-3-5 some I'm going to assume that a b3 means a "flat" Third!. So the second note of the chord is one half step tone down!. Most of the time that would mean a finger one fret lower than normal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A major chord is made by the 1 (base not), 3 and 5 in that key!. The minor chord is made by flattening ( b) the 3 note!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
