Question: What is the best Acoustic guitar for beginners!? !?
Well I played a little over the summer and I had a lot of fun!. I'd like it to be under 500$!. Over the summer the guitar I played on had some plastic strings!. But I think I'd like to try medal strings!.

an epiphone pr-150 is a great choice!. less than $200,has great sound and ease of fingering for the beginner!. the neck is designed for this!. probably the greatest obstacle for the beginner is the pain associated with playing as a guitar puts the hand in an unnatural position!. this guitar minimizes this very nicely!.

It would be best to try a few and seek out a good shop!. You'll also want to have it set up, so it plays nicely and not have any issues!.

Most of what you'll see are Dreadnoughts, which are fairly large, but also take a look at smaller bodies in the 00 and 000 range!. They're more balanced and comfortable, at least to me!. This should give an idea of the dimensions:

As for guitars to try out in that range, I personally like the Seagull Entourage and Folk (and the Simon & Patricks made by the same company), the Martin 000X1, some Alvarezes and the Taylor Big Baby!. There are others, as well, but when I tried a bunch in that range, those were my favorites!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just get a cheap one and put good strings on it!. Youd be suprised the quality of sound you can get on some of the cheapest guitars out there!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
