symphony?

Question: How can I join an ensemble/symphony!?

I really want to get better with music!. I play percussion by the way, and it's only been for about a year if that matters, but my teacher says that I'm a natural percussionist!. I want to join something possibly outside of school that's like a concert band at any school, but with harder music!. The problem is I'm only 13!. Any ideas of where to start!?

This question would be easier to answer if we knew where you lived!. Are you in a city or rural area!? Which state!? I think people in your area, in your life, might could help you!. Try asking your teacher if there are any performing arts organizations in your area where you could follow up on this!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I had a similar dilemma!. I'm 13 and I play the oboe, and my school concert band music seemed very easy!. Over the summer, I attended a week long summer camp at the University of Tampa, and it was very productive!. We would play pretty much nonstop but i learned a lot!. You should investigate in your community to see if their are any charity bands or camps!.
