Acoustic guitar or electric guitar?

Question:

Hello!.
I currently play bass and drum set!. I played an electric guitar a bit and enjoyed it, but I hate the distortion sound!.
Ive also played my sister's beginner's acoustic, which is probably half of what a real acoustic is, but i still enjoyed it!.

Now, I will not be joining a band, I simply want something i would be able to play at home along to songs, for my own enjoyment!. haha!.

is acoustic guitar ok for this!?

Im just trying to get some facts on both, and opinions for both!.
Im leaning towards acoustic!.

Depending on your budget, I would recommend an acoustic/electric!. It is the same as an acoustic but can also be plugged into an amp!. I recommend Takamine or Jasmine by Takamine!.

Acoustic is probably better!. The cost is cheaper, and it sounds better in low volume!.

But, you'll probably want to compromise and get an acoustic electric in case you ever play a gig, you'll want it to be loud enough!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
