Question: Good violin songs !?!? !?
well i have played my violin for about 4 or 5 years now i would say i am pretty good because i practice lots but i was wondering if anyone new any good songs not like Devil Went Down To Georgia i already have that song but any other suggestions would be helpful thanks you an possibly maybe duets with a flute because htat is what my sister plays and we have always wanted to do a duet because she is really good Www@QuestionHome@Com

classical music!? do you have a private teacher!? it all depends!. for more advanced pieces you'll need private coaching!. some good songs to play would be:

-concerto in a minor and the four seasons by antonio vivaldi

-anything by bach for violin

-the handel violin sonatas

-all of mozart's pieces for violin

Have you looked at Irish music!? It is traditionally played on fiddle and flute among other things!. If you've seen "Titanic" there is a wonderful tune featured in that called "Drowsy Magggie" - a reel!.There are too many tunes to name , but things like " Harvest Home" Soldier's Joy"
"Irish Washerwoman" "Merry Blacksmith" and so on!.

For the violin, Look for 1001 Fiddle Tunes!.
For duets, Try "Beautiful Music for two violins" The flute can play one of the violin parts!. This book comes in several grade levels!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
