NO! Don't raise the nut like the other person said unless absolutely necessary!. Don't touch the truss rod either!. What your going to want to do is raise the action of the guitar!. If you look at the bridge of the guitar!. (the part where the strings come through from) you will see saddles!. http://hpbimg!.guitarsrecycled!.com/preset!.!.!.
the part with the screw going though it!. If you look at them closely you will see 2 alan key screws on both sides of each string!. Get the proper sized alan key and spin it to the right to raise the action!.

Raise the action until the buzzing goes away!. If this does not help than look at the bow of the neck!. The bow of the neck is how the neck curves!. If you look at the guitar neck from the top do you see that it has a slight curvature!? If this is curving away from you very slightly then leave it as is!. however, if it is curving towards you then spin the truss rod counter clockwise!. If the neck has an extreme curvature away from you then tighten the rod by spinning it clockwise!.

If this does not work!. Then try going to your local technician and ask for a setup!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It sounds like the nut (the piece holding the strings up just below the 1st fret) is to low!. It may need to be raised or replaced!.
Get it into a shop!.
