Question: In lighting, what is the magic angle and why!? In theatre !?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
45 degrees - eyes don't disappear into shadow and faces are lit, but the light is still "toppy" enough to provide definition!. Any less and the frontlight will be very flat and the third dimension is lost!. Any higher, and faces start to disappear into shadow!. And if this is a homework question, go read Pilbrow's book on stage lighting!Www@QuestionHome@Com
