Question: Question about which Ibanez to get!?

I'm thinking of getting an Ibanez, but I don't really know which one to get!?I enjoy playing heavy metal but not hardcore or anything, so could someone tell me which kind to get!?I'm thinking of an Ibanez rg!.!.but yeah!?

There are alot of good models in the Ibanez line and the RG look cool!.
depends on the $ you want to spend but based on your question it sounds like you may be just starting out with the guitar or at least have little experience!.
That's an ok guitar for someone in your shoes and theirs no need to get a distortion pedal much less MED/heavy strings!. Heavy strings will be harder for you to play, tear up your fingers, most likely buzz when you play them, and if you want to bend a string have some bandaids on hand!. The guage or thickness of strings use numbers and when you buy them just ask for 10's at the most!. 10 or!.010 is the size of the high E string and is common!. I use 8,s 9,s and 10,s but for all around ease and useability 9 or 10,s are good
As far as a distortion pedal that guy recommended, he obviously is an amateur and knows very little about what he talking about!.
If you have an amp one would prefer to know what kind it is before advocating buying distortion pedals!. One thing that works absolutely great is the "Boss EQ footpedal" it looks just like a little equalizer about as big two packs of cigarettes on top of eachother!. Guitar goes in one side and comes out the otherside to the amp!. good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

My tip to you would be go and try them see which feels best then look at the price and be like wow if u love it and its below what you expected :) !. You may want a distortion pedal and some med/thick metal strings for a deeper heavy metal effect!.
