As one who has performed on both saxophone and bassoon, here's the best answer I can offer!. I've known professional clarinets and saxophonists to play through BOXES of reeds to find the few that they found playable or adjustable for their purposes!. Yes, most used the Vandoren product!. However, that only relates to the fact that the majority of the arundo donax(reed cane) grows in brackish, marshy waters along the south coast of France!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
