yes there is one bit of advice that i have for you
i have been in for the commercials and tv its not that bad i only had to do one part where they put the script up on a larger piece of paper for us and we read it off there but all you got to do is make sure you move around and not just stand there reading and make sure you have not all but most of your part memorized and do alot of facial exspreicions where you think posible!!
that is all i have for advice
thank you for answering my question Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would add two things to the great answers so far!.

1!. Acting for a camera is a quite different skill than acting on stage!. (you didn't mention what type of acting classes you have been taking so I hope they've been acting for the camera)

2!. If you are not chosen for the role, it can be for reasons way outside your talent range!. We often cast for films and videos based on looks or how people look together!. Add that to the fact that probably a full 5-10% of auditioners would do a good job, you can see that there's a really good chance that you could be in that 5-10% "able" actors, and never even hear back about it, because you're one year too old, or your hair's too dark, etc!.

I hope that is not taken as "discouraging," but rather "encouraging," because you just know that it takes quite a lot of really strong auditions before you might even be selected!. Not being chosen does not mean you didn't nail the audition with expertise!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
