I started to answer and noticed one of the answers you had (which has been deleted) was trying to give you a virus!. I reported him and its gone now!.

I guess it might be an OK guitar!. Behringer is not the greatest brand of guitar, and I've heard things about the USB link that aren't the greatest!.
I believe that there is a bit of delay in response!. If you have a high speed USB port it might be OK!. It does have some useful software along with it!. It might be fun to play around with!. Hopefully it also has a regular 1/4" jack for connection a regular amp or it won't be very useful!.

There is also the option of buying a regular electric guitar and using a headphone amplifier!. And most practice amps have headphone jacks for quiet practicing!.

For fifty bucks you can get a headphone with electronics that plug into your guitar (see link) You don't need an amp - the guitar plugs into a gizmo the size of a computer mouse and you plug headphones into the same device and play silently!. I suspect that device - along with a better guitar than the Behringer - is a better solution!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think USB guitars are ready for primetime!. You might be better off getting a normal guitar and something like a line 6 pod!. Then again, it might be a noble experiment for $166!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
