When I first started playing, I was all about distortion!.

But now my music is very blues rock/acoustic/jazz influenced!. I like to play clean with a slight overdrive!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Distortion gives you the more heavy metal sound in todays music!. Overdrive gives you more bite and a little more sustain because it is overdriving the pre-amp givng a slight distortion!.!.!.more of a dirty sound!.

It depends if you want a dirty sound (overdrive) or a distorted sound and fuzz (distortion)Www@QuestionHome@Com
