I'm doing Grade 5 ABRSM and my scales are like totally CRAZY !!!!! my right hand and left hand don't match and both of my hands are like uneven!. so when i play my left hand is way slower and my right hand is playing like:
1 and 2 and 34 and 5!.!.!.!. so on
when ever I play the thumb it's always so loud and heavy!. I can't even play C major properly!!!!
P!.S i'm right handed and i don't have a metronome and my exams in 3 wks!!!!! help!!!!! BTW i have to do three octaves!.!.!.!. T!.TWww@QuestionHome@Com

Magical Wizard: Well it's not hard guessing! What instruments do you think that use right and left hand!? It doesn't even make a difference what instrument it is!

I would suggest that you only play left hand for a few nights, starting slowly and getting faster each time until you can pick up speed and do it evenly!. In the exam they are marking you on your evenness mostly, as well as the key Signature etc!. I would then do then same with the right hand, starting slowly and picking up speed until you can do it even!. Then do both together, doing it very slow at first until you can do both together well, and then gradually get faster again!! Unfortunately you won't be able to do them well until you can do them slow first I'm afraid!
