Question: I'm learning to juggle!?

And I've only been doing it for a few days and I'm not very good at it, but there is one thing that I do that I can't fix!.

The balls always seem to go out instead of up!. Every so often I can do about four throws really well, and the balls go up very nicely!. But the majority of the time my tennis balls are everywhere!.

I'm tried imagining it in my head and then doing it for real, and I've changed the way I through the balls and the way I hold my arms!. I've even tried juggling up against the wall, but I usually spend the time ducking from the the balls coming at my face!.

I've tried so hard to fix it and nothing is working!. I know it's only been a few days, but I was wondering if you had any tips or advice for me!.

I also do this other thing where my hands keep coming up and by the time I go to throw a ball for the fourth or fifth time my hands and arms are at my face!. I'm sure I can fix that on my own with some more time and practice, but any advice for that would be helpful too!.

Thanks for everything

I juggle, but when I first started, I was just like you! It was frustrating, because I felt like I was spending more time getting the balls back together than actually practicing! But it just took lots of time and patience, and now it's really easy!.
Maybe try practicing just throwing a single ball from hand to hand, first!. When you can do 100 throws this way, then try two balls, then add a third, and so on!. Plan to practice with each set of balls for at least a week or two, to get really good!. Trying to go too fast on a skill that takes lots of "brain re-wiring" is not good, because you'll just feel like a failure, when all you really need is more practice, practice, practice!
Good luck! Have fun!Www@QuestionHome@Com
