Question: I have written a musical - how do i get it into theatres!?
I have written and scored and recorded a contemporary musical!. I will soon, need to move it forward and get a theatre company to take it on!. What next!? Agent!? Contact theatrical producers!?

Any help much appreciated! (btw im in the UK)

well my drama teacher wrote one and he got it published first by dramatics publishing, then they did the work from there!. he gets paid a percent of the royalties!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can work directly with a theater company to produce it!. You've got the Fringe Festival just across the way in Edinborough, why not contact some of those theater companies!? They're more likely to take a risk on a new work than any company in the West End!. I'm in the states and have worked with two playwrights to produce new work with the theater company I belong to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
