Don't listen to these idiots, you can put the 11 gauge on there as the "e" and it will be fine, thats what I have on my guitars if you dont beleive me check out Ernie Balls Strings and the set is Power Slinky!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

More than likely not, it's too thick to be tuned to e, it'll break before it gets to that pitch, I've tried before, now, if you have a B, you can!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

BUY a new set of strings and BUY A TUNER so the next time you won't break the strings by OVER TIGHTENING!.!.!. like most beginners do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you could always goto your local music store and buy one string!. The have a bunch of one stringers for sale like a dollar!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
