Question: Can you still practice and play a music on an electric guitar without an amp and if so will it sound ok !?

yes you can still practice, but it won't sound like the original recording of a song you want to play but it doesn't really matter as long as you practice!.

when you nail the song, then play it on the amp and see how you have learned!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes I do this watching tv to go through scales and exercises, you can hear it but just barely!. Many practice amps, and modeling setups have jacks for headphones if you want to practice with effects and such!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

of course you can, if you're just practicing!. i can't remember how many nights i'd be chilling in front of the television playing "unplugged"!. any practice is good practice!.
