Question: How do you stop your hands from sweating before an exam!?
Most people get nervous before an exam/audition/performance, and sometimes their hands get sweaty!. I play a stringed instrument and if I have sweaty hands then I can't play in tune or vibrato properly!. Does anyone know how to stop your hands from sweating and how to calm down before an exam!? Is there a way that works for you!? If you have any advice please share it with me because I've got one coming up and I really can't afford to make any mistakes! I really appreciate your help!. I just wipe them off my trousers!
I like the idea of cooling them off in water every night!. I play the trombone, and whenever I'm playing with my band in front of a large audience, my ears get really hot!. I cool them down on the cold metal of the trombone!.
I think concerts make me ill!. I was playing 'Phantom of the Opera' and my head hurt like hell! That song makes my face look so ugly!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
there are several (non medicinal) ways of dealing with sweating hands!. People being recruited in the armed forces often get rejected because of 'wet palms'!. The temporary way is to smudge your palm with something that can soak the sweat and block the pores!. and it can be simple talcum powder or even sand!.
However, if you want to sort it in the long run, trying dipping your palm in cold water everyday before going to bed for about 5-10 mins!. This will gradually seal the pores on your skin!.!.!.!.!.
