i dont necessarily agree with the answer above me!.!.!.
a lot of times!.!.!. a mezzo has the same range as a lyric soprano or an alto!.!.!.
however, their voice usually has a lower "quality" of tone than a soprano!. Meaning that it is richer and darker and they sound their best in a mid range!. It is a different type of quality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A mezzo is a person that can't go as high as a soprano, but can't go as low as an alto either!. It's an inbetween voice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
