Question: What are the different sizes for in acoustic guitars!?
I am wondering what is the difference betwen a 38" 41" and 25" acoustic guitars!. thanks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actually, those measurements are the different measurements for different scales of guitars!. The are full sized, 7/8 scale, 3/4 scale and 1/2 scale guitars!. These guitars all have proper proportions for tuning, but the total size makes the smaller guitars easier to play for children or people with small sized hands!.

If I remember right they measure the size of the body across the two sides on the lower bout!. Most are around 16/17"

25" or 24 3/4" is usually the scale/string length of the strings though from bridge to nut on an acoustic!.

41" is the scale length of something as large as a double bass, but for an acoustic guitar it could be the total length from headstock end to endpin!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
