I recently obtained an acoustic guitar!. Problem is, I have no idea how to play it!.

Traditionally in learning guitar, people first learn the finger positions for Emin/Gmaj pentatonic!. First the first position up near the head and then they work up the neck from there!. After you learn that first basic scale you learn to add notes and move transpose positions around the neck to get other scales!.

Yes!.!.!. there are several EXCELLENT books that show the finger positions of the chords!.!. and you can buy one in any music store that caters to guitar players or online!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
