Question: If you remove something from infinity, do you still have infinity left!?
Philosophically speaking, Infinity has no boundaries!. So if you remove something from it, do you still have infinity left, or does it become a "limited" amount (IE COULD have a known value)!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, it depends on *what* you are removing from infinity!.
If you have a an infinite amount of junk, and you remove like three things or whatever, than you will still have an infinite amount of junk left! (if you don't believe me, try counting it ;-) ) but if you have an infinte amount of junk and you say "For each piece of junk, take it away" then you will, for instance, have NO junk left!. Or if you say "For each but these three things, take it away" you will obviously have three things left, not an infinite set of things!.

Agreed with the person above though, infinity isn't really a number per se!. Indeed, to say there is "in-finite" amount of something means, by definition, that no single number can describe the quantity!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Infinity not only has no boundaries but it is also just and idea not an actual number, so you can therefore not remove anything from it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
