First you need to figure out everything there is to know about this girl!. If she survived the bombing, she obviously wasn't at the center of the bomb zone!. Where was she!? Was she alone or with her family!? These character decisions will greatly impact the monologue!.

Once you have your character you will need to grab your audience's attention!. I can't tell you what to write because then it would be my monologue and not yours!. Just speak from the heart!. Don't be afraid to cry!. Bring the real emotions of the moment forward!. also, don't forget to include the political as well as social effects!. You want to get full credit, so this is vital!.

And don't forget to end with a bang!Www@QuestionHome@Com

if you are a good writer used the word "you" allot
and be like "you walk home from school, when the bomb sirens go off, you run home as fast as you can!.!.!. there is an artificial sunset fromthe otehrside of town!.!.!." then desribe the aftermaths of the attack, like what it was like without water or perhaps your father was in the army and you knewabout the russian front!.!.!. and say something like "the russians would have conquered us, but the americans slaughtered us!. there are still people dieing!.!.!." and work so much emotion into it that those listening to you think you were really there, add so much detail that you describe the dust, perhaps a lost pet!.!.!. everything, and the americans have given us nothing!.!.!. and then mention near the end!.!.!. "so i moved away, to nagasaki!.!.!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

Slow, serious, and with remorse!.
Something like: "August!.!.!. August 1945!. (pause) Who would have known that most important day of my life, and one of the most important moments in Japanese history was about to occur!. Nearly 140,000 people killed, and I!.!.!. (small pause, then say this next part strong but still slowly) I was a split second from making it 141,000!."
Or you know something like that!.!.!. just start off speaking slow, then switch it up as you go on, being stronger with things that had the biggest impact, and sound more upset and scared when describing what you saw/felt/etc!.

Hope I helped, and good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
