Question: Trying to Become a Country Singer- Starting out tips!?
It's always been my dream to become a country singer, because it is my passion and always has been!. We have a family farm, and I love going up there with my guitar, and just singing/playing for hours on end!. I play guitar, I write songs, and I think I'm a pretty good singer!. I want to be able to share my love of singing and writing country music!. How do I start out a music career!?
Now, don't get me wrong, I know there are a ton of questions where people want to become "famous singers" or actors or whatever, but I'm not trying to get rich and famous!. I just want to do somthing I'm really passionate about and share it with people!.

If you are passionate about it then you should have no problem getting started!. Probably the best thing is to start out somewhere locally!.!.!.and there are all kinds of places!.!.!.restaurants, hotels, clubs!. You can do brunches or happy hours at restaurants, the same with hotels, and any club which has country music for entertainment!. How about local fairs, or arts and craft shows, things like that!? There's always an event of place that is seeking entertainment!. The smaller the place you start at the better!. Check out all these places and listen to who's playing where!. Listen to their music, their style!. The more you're out there seeing who's listening to what, the more you will learn about the entertainment business!. Are these people at these venues every week!? If so, then they're probably good and they make $$ for the clubs!. And that's what you want!.!.!.!.you want people to like you as an entertainer and you want to be invited back!! Now to get there!.!.!.!.!.
Ask your friends and family what they think of your voice!. And ask them to be honest!. You think you're a good singer but so did a lot of people who showed up to try out on Idol!! Now you need to hear it from others!. Try taping yourself while singing one of your songs!. Is it something you'd listen to on the radio!?
WIth your guitar playing and songwriting, you're already over halfway there!. If your voice needs improvement then you can take singing lessons!. Even if it turns out you're not the best singer, if you are a songwriter and musician, there are tons of possibilities there too! Best of luck!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
Wow!. That's a wonderful goal! I suppose start a band- (lol, have you heard that new song 'start a band') After that, you go with the flow!
It shouldn't be too hard to get some local gigs- and as more people hear about you, more people with want you to sing for them!. Send a song or two into your local radio station, and hope for the best!. Don't get your hopes up too high- you never know what will happen!. But in the least you'll without a doubt become a local star if you work at it!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
