Question: Am I Paying To Much For Guitar Lessons!?
Iv'e been playing guitar for a little more than a month!. Ive had 2 lessons, their 30 minuets $21 per lesson, and you pay 5 lessons at a time!.
My teacher seems to be pretty good and i suppose i learn a-lot per lesson, not sure though, i Know "smoke on the water" and "iron man"

Am I paying to much!? is It worth the money, or should i just finish up these lessons and find another place!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I charge almost twice that but then I have a master's in music, did postgraduate study at two European conservatories, and have been teaching for twenty years!. But then you'd play scales and arpeggios in my studio, not "Smoke on the Water" and "Iron Man!." And after a year you'd be playing Bach, Vivaldi, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi, i play the violin and i have my lessons for an hour! And its really up to you if you still keep on playing!. I mean, if you really want to learn then you should keep on going!. Sometimes if you think your lessons are a bit to much then you should look around your area and see if there is anyone who is teaching for a lower price!. Where i live, not many people teach the violin and so it was tough to find someone who was willing to teach and was charging a good amount of cash! Finally i found someone who was willing to teach me, and the cash i had to pay was good! 'Nothing!' lol!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Price is usually based on experience of the teacher!. Is your teacher some guy who has a garage band or does (s)he have a PHD in Music!? 21 per lesson, as you've read, is rather cheap generally speaking!. I'm not a big fan of people who can play 12 different songs but when I ask for a specific chord goes and grabs me an extension from my garage!. You should definitely be learning your chords from your lessons!. This way you're actually learning guitar versus learning how to play songs!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Too much!? That's nothing!.

Guitar lessons are NOT cheap!. You get what you pay for so be happy with this teacher (unless you start to see that you're not progressing, then find a new one)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

21 thats great but, how should i know i have never heard you play, plus he should be teaching you the basics!.notes or chords!. not main riffs!.[my opinion] on the what he should be teachingWww@QuestionHome@Com

Try: http://www!.tubestreamer!.com

This site for me has been really useful and has many resources!. I like it because of all of the videos, and video categories!. Plus it has a search function!.

It has everything with tags for "guitar" which make it easier finding guitar related material unlike other video sites like youtube!.

The website will display correctly on all web browsers except Internet Explorer (Which is the only downfall, but the admin said it would be fixed very soon)
With that being said, and the ammount of information from the page, I am still happy with using Mozilla Firefox to go there for now!. Internet Explorer is the last of my concerns!.
I am sure that the page will be viewable using IE7 and the new IE8 by the end of this week, so make sure to bookmark the site for future use!.

On http://www!.tubestreamer!.com you can find everything from the most basic of beginner videos, to advanced stuff, guitar reviews, amp reviews and more!. I found this site a while back and have been visiting it every day since then!. I go there to learn to play songs, get equipment reviews, and also to vote!.

http://www!.tubestreamer!.com sponsers someone off of youtube each week and posts them as the "weekly streamer"

This is kindof cool and gives people a change to make it off the youtube site and onto other pages as well!.

I noticed when I first started going to http://www!.tubestreamer!.com a few weeks ago, that there were changes being made to the page every day!. I think the site is fairly new, but again has given me answers to most all of the questions I had that were guitar related!. If you don't see something you are looking for, just use the search!.

Some Main things on http://www!.tubestreamer!.com

1!. Acoustic covers and tutorials
2!. Guitar Lessons
3!. Tabs / Covers / Lessons / Workships
4!. Guitar information such as Repair / Reviews

Content seems to be updated daily, search tags show new things so I don't get stuck on searching myself, or trying to find something I would like to learn!. I simply go to their page and get great suggestions!.

I have sent an email to the admin and got a fast personal response as well!. (Which is a good thing)

Something I really like to see!.!.!.!. Great page with great guitar content, of which most of the time has had exactly what I am looking for and more!.

I noticed there is also a new section that is a web forum area, and rumored a classifieds posting section for guitars and equpt coming soon!.

On the email reply I received from http://www!.tubestreamer!.com

I was told that there would also be another place added soon for everyone to upload their own guitar videos and tutorials!.

The newest areas added are the forum and blog, and though it doesn't appear that many people have signed up on it yet, I am sure it will not take too long for this site to take off!.!.!.Let's give some support to a great site showing dedication to bringing us great video information for free!
