Question: If an impersonator can mimic your voice, does that mean you can impersonate theirs!?
I'm fascinated by people like Rich Little and Frank Caliendo who can impersonate just about anyone!. So, if say, Caliendo impersonates John Madden, why can't John Madden thereby impersonate Caliendo's natural voice!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

The answer is that doing impressions is a talent!. Some people have the talent for mimicry and others don't!.

So it doesn't mean that one can impersonate the other back!. John Madden has a distinctive voice, Rich Little's own voice is normal with nothing really there to give an impression of!.
also involved in impressions is facial expressions and body language!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
