Question: If I can play trumpet can I learn to play Uilleann pipes!?

I want to become an Irish, should I go with Uilleann pipes or highland bagpipes (even though they're Scottish!?!?!?!?!?)!?!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Both Uilleann pipes and highland pipes are very different from the trumpet, but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to learn them, especially if you already have a background in music!. If you play the trumpet you might have the necessary lung strength for the highland pipes, but the uilleann pipes require you to pump your elbow, not blowing a pipe of any sort!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
