You got alot of good answers on the question already!. I took my daughter to one of those things, and they invited her to a event like this!. They basically screen tested her and then laid into the school thing!. Thats what they are, is a school!. Very seldom do they ever get anyone any actual paying jobs, but you could be the exception!. I do not have the 2K to drop for classes on my daughter, so she didnt go!. She is almost 18, she can try out for americas top model!. You should go to the thing and check it out, for the experience if nothing else!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Look!. It's a scam in that they won't be able to *promise* you any sort of job, and you'll end up paying a lot of money with no results!. Again, like so many others have said, legit modelling agencies will usually pay up front, etc!.

And legit modelling agencies won't HAND OUT A CARD THAT THEY CALL YOU BACK LATER WITH!.

Did anyone take any time to take measurements, or do head shots, or even have you pose!?

They want your money, and you want to give them your money, because they're saying "hey look, it's what you've always dreamed of, you could be famous, you could be a top model, we can show you how (whatever that means, either you have it or you don't), all you have to do is pay us some money, and hey what's money anyways, right!? you could be faaaamous!.!.!.!."
