Rent the movie "Cool Runnings" which was about the Jamaican Bobsled team!. It will give you a pretty good idea how to speak the lines with the right mix of French and Spanish accents!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I was born and raised in the Caribbean!. Forget the first answer, the second one is a bit closer, but far from adequate!. If you're serious, find a West Indian or two and befriend them!. If you can't do that, You're not quite ready for this!. Alternatively, you can find recordings of West Indian stand-up entertainers; in fact that's the next best thing to do!. If you can get the CDs of Albert Pragnell ( Barbados), Paul keens Douglas (Trinidad), Louise Benette (Jamaica) or Marc Matthews (Guyana), either or all of these would be of tremendous help to you!. The accents shift from country to country, but they compliment each other!. If you can't get them in the store, try Limewire or any other site on the internet where you might acquire old recordings!. Best wishes!.

PS: The above recommendations consist of speech almost exclusively, so you're able to hear exactly how Caribbean people speak, and you can replay them as much as you need for practice!. Besides, they're quite entertaining and full of rich and informative material!. You'll never be the same!Www@QuestionHome@Com
