Have you learned theory in guitar!? Guitar is a cool instrument to play because like the piano It s all Straight forward one key You don't need to transpose anything!.
The scales in a piano are that way too So It is a terrific transiton!. I do play guitar and even more on the piano
My guitar is now a piece of Junk because I enjoy the piano much better!. The theory is the same you can see patterns in the scales and it is fun playing just scales!. but interesting enough i like the computer keyboard to just act like it is a musical key board

And it is fun to jam on here we go ta ta ut ut ut yi o uu uu uu u u uuu uu uu uu uyu ukimun!!!

I act like I am a total fool but if you do it once you will see how crazie you can get!. It is liberating!. But I guess you begin with theory (from flats and sharps to 9ths 11ths and 13ths)!. here is nuch more involved but you will see the patterns in borh instramentsWww@QuestionHome@Com

Well you need to have good hands; due to some hand injuries I find it quite painful to play piano at anything beyond messing around now (I used to love it when I was younger) but i have taken up bass guitar!. Although there is still pain, it is far more bearable!.

Playing the guitar will help with piano!. Understanding chords, just being able to read sheet music will help ALOT!. also if you are very dextrous with your fingers (which you should be from playing if you are good at it) then it will help alot with the piano; though it will be tough since you will be controlling your fingers very individually, and from 1-10 at any time (plus your feet when you get into the pedals)!. Just get a beginners piano book, sit down with it at a piano/keyboard when you have some free time and play away!. One really neat thing you can do is when you learn the layout of the piano well, you can play along with your favorite songs to play guitar to since you already know the chords for it :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Studies show that 10,000 hours of concentrated practice (not just noodling away) is necessary to become expert at a task!.

This is approximately three hours a day for ten years!. I don't know how easy you think playing piano is, but most of us have spent a heck of a lot of time at it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I read somewhere that on average it takes something like 10,000 hours of practice to become a professional Www@QuestionHome@Com
