Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
each number is one beat!. Strum the guitar for every number that's on the string!.
Example: If there are 4 numbers on the E string, I strum the guitar 4 times!.
When numbers are on top of each other, place your fingers on the frets at the same time as the other strings!.
Example: If 3 is the E string, and 4 is on the B string while there on top of each other, I press the 3rd fret on the E string, and the 4th fret on the B string and strum the guitar at the same time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you need to line up the dashes, try spacing them out, it's easier to see!. When there is more than one number along a vertical line of dashes, then you play them at the same time!. e!.g!.
E -4-----
B ----2
G ---2-2
D -- 2--2
A -0----
E -------

Should sound like the E and A string plucked at the same time, then the D, then theG, then the B, then the G, then the D!. Although it's not very clear on yahoo text! But the one you've posted has loads of strings plucked together at the same time so it's probably chords/strumming!. I generally play classical guitar so it's one note at a time!.!.!.much easier to read!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You have to find the beat in the song!. Usually when they are 3 together!.
You will play 2 then 1!.

so G6, D6, thennnn A4!.
