Question: How do I sing high without going falsetto!?
I'm trying to sing "it's a hard-knock life" from the musical Annie!.
When I sing alone, I can do higher pitches just fine!.
But for some reason,!. when I sing while hearing the instumental version behind me, my voice automatically seems to go falsetto at the higher parts!.
i know that getting a singing coah would be the best idea, but are there any tips for preventing this!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

You have to sing with vibratto to hit high notes without going into falcetto, if you don't, you can damage your vocal chords!.

If you've never sang with vibratto, you've probably heard it!. (It's how the fat lady sings at the end of an opera, lol!.) But you don't have to make it AS dramatic!.

I've heard it described as pretending to sing with a golf ball in the back of your throat!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
