HELP! How can i customise my Squier strat guitar?

Question: HELP! How can i customise my Squier strat guitar!?

I know its not a great guitar so i was thinking i could make the body all black with a new black pickguard!. I was also thinking about changing the knobs and all the fittings to black too!. Ive heard you can stck stickers on it but i think this ruins the feel of the guitar, anyway do you think this is a bad idea

You know what go for it! Who says you can't make something great from a squier! I will be overhauling my own squier telecaster to now, even though everyone told me i shouldn't bother!. I would put in some new blackout pickups say two single coils and a humbucker to mix up the sound a bit, but keep the five way switching it will be more versatile that way!. If you want it like all black i would paint the headstock to match the guitar, get a black (or flashy colored) pickguard and add all black chrome hardware to it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've got the same guitar!.!.I sanded all the body so the colour is woody now!.!.this could be an idea!.!.then I replaced all the old electronics with black ones and I put a black pickguard!.good luck with yours!Www@QuestionHome@Com
