You can do the next best thing for now: Talent Contests
Sersioulsy, the kids these days are entering Talent Contests like you wouldnt beleive!. I've been in 6 Guitar Center Drum - Off Contests & 1 Sam Ash one from 1999 to 2003!. Honestly, out of the people who were in it!.!.!.50% were kids like 12 years old beating the crap of the drums!.!.!.and some of them they were much better than us older folks too!!! LOL I was there & saw it myself!. Some of those kids were amazing drummers doing all kinds of complicated drum beats & solos!.

Talent Contests are the way to go!.!.!.because you have be able to handle rejection from masses over & over in order to be considered a Great Singer!. In those Talent Contests, you're going to learn how to fight, to become strong, and to deal with people that despise your success and help others acheive their music dreams too also! You should see all the kids eyes light up when you are perfoming in front of them! You've sang in front of 500 people so you know what I'm talking about!. You saw those peoples eyes light up when you sang your song!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.didn't you!? You know what that feeling is!.!.!.it takes lot of courage to get up on stage and sing a sing in fronts of buch of strangers!.!.!.doesnt it!? Your hands sweat!.!.!.your hear beats a million miles an minute!.!.!.!.your nerves are on edge! Every second of your life moves so slow!.!.!.

Local Talent Contests are Military Boot Camp for Superstars! Why do they cry on American Idol so much!?!?!? Well!.!.it's because they haven't learned how to deal properly with mass rejection and aren't strong enough to take the brutal hits daily from Simons critique!.
Simon's not a liar!. People hate or love him!.!.!.but Simon never lies!. I personally like him because he tells the truth flat out! People hate the truth sometimes because they know it hurts!. But, also you have to have faith in your self too!. You have to know your strengths & weaknesses as an Singer too!. That is vital to your success!. There are going to be times when you realize just how great your musical gifts really are and you better protect them wisely!. It's up to you to maintain them like take care of a car!.

In all my old Drum Contests, I always stood before 3 Drum Judges just like American Idol does and you play your little 3 minute drum solo right in front of a LIVE audience!. They all take your picures and everything! Sometimes they also talk bad about your performance and etc!. I've lost all those times, but I'm still a winner because I've already survived all those crushing Drum Contest defeats!. Its was like a 7 years of war that didn't end for me!. On top of that!. I was very deathly ill in one of those Contests in 2004!. I was 185 lbs & still suffering from some very painful things!. I almost died from illness that year to be quite honest!. But, I wouldnt take no for an answer and just kept coming back for more! I was a nervous mess everytime, but I wouldn't let go until I acheived my goals & proved all those who mocked me wrong! I'm stubborn, but I chase dreams things like a Pit Bull does!.!.!.

Anyways!.!.!.for now!.!.!.keep up with your Vocal Coach work!. They are your Cheering Squad!!! also, the great news is that you've already sang in front of 500 people so thats is to your advantage already!.!. Hope this helps you out and good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, if you want to hit it serious as a singer, study music!. Do you have a bachelor's in music!? Can you read music on a pentagram!? This stuff isn't completely necessary, but it really helps!. It's good to know that I'm listening to a singer that got her masters degree (or bachelor's) in music at Paris!. You also have to get noticed; make friends out of thin air and some how bring up the topic that you're a singer and you sing in a band and invite them to your shows!. This will lead to connections!. If you're good, the people will want to hear you, and maybe one of your newly made friends has dad that works for a record company!. Make sure you keep close to your fans, they're the ones that support you as an artist in the first place, and want to hear you sing!. Otherwise that, it's all downhill from there; record contracts, big deals, touring!. The works!. Good luck, and I hope to see you up there one day! Who knows!.!.!. What you should do is tell your vocal coach that you want to be a professional singer!. I'm pretty sure that your teacher has some connections to people in the local music industry who can help you out!. If your teacher is a professional singer herself/himself, then she/he will be able to guide you and tell you what you need to do since she/he knows how the business works!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

first place to start is a music college or performing arts school doing music
usually as part of the way they grade you, you'll be made to form a band within the class and perform somewhere each week to the public
