i have been dancing on and off since i was three im now 14 and i am working harder then ever!. i have slowly gotten better and better!. the more classes u take the better!. two yrs ago i took a break from dancing and last yr i took seven hrs of classes a week and now i am where i should be about!. so yea if u keep working hard im sure u could do it but be sure to pay attention to that injury because even though it may seem to be heeled it could still flare up again later on!. also on the pay remember that dancers are the athletes that work the hardest and get payed the least so don't expect a huge sum of money to come out of a dancing career!. i hope i helped and good luck!. =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Like any art, the pay isn't great!. also, you'll have to wait for the retirement of a veteran for a space to open!. However, pursuing a passion, adn especially an athletic one is commendable and has rewards all its own, so I would encourage you to follow that passion, but don't neglect schooling and keeping other avenues open!. Look for other ways you could participate in Ballet - management, set or costume design, etcWww@QuestionHome@Com
