Question: Where Can I Buy a Helium Tank That I Can Reuse Over & Over Again!?
I called ALL of the local party supply places in our area (and even called Hallmark) and I can't seem to find one online!

We have lots of parties so I thought a Helium tank would be a lot cheaper than constantly going to Hallmark to buy balloons!. also, where and how can I get one re-filled!?!?

THANKS SO MUCH FOR ANY HELP!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You might try some industrial areas, look for places that sell gases, like helium, propane etc!.!.!. We just recently did the same thing!. I have tons of parties and I also have a child care!. We lent our tank this week to my cousin for his army family gathering!. If you can find one to buy, they usually can refill them there also!. The way they do this is they have you bring in the tank and they just swap it!. It cost about one hundred dollars!. (We have the huge tank) it lasts forever!. And you are right it is better to have your own, besides the rental fees, they hassle of pick up and return and the deposits it is so much better!. We keep ours in the garage and are ready to go at a minutes notice!. You might also try to find out where the party places get their tanks refilled and call them to see if they sell/ or know who does!.

Well, I think that the way most gases are sold/delivered is by purchasing a basic filled tank!. When you need a refill, the gas company will bring you a new cylinder of gas and "trade-in" the old tank!. Not many places will let you bring in a tank and fill it for you!.
Look in your Yellow pages in "Industrial/welding Gas" suppliers!. You will probably be charged a higher price for your initial rental and then a lesser price for delivery of refills!.

That is how all of the Gases that we use in the Electronics industry(such Hydrogen or Argon) are delivered!. It probably is more of a safety issue than anything else, because they have special delivery trucks to ship the tanks!. Imagine if you accidentally dropped a full tank of helium and knocked off the regulator! That thing would go shooting down the street like a rocket and could easily kill somebody!.
